After reading this article, I figured it was time to start a thread. Looks like it is getting serious.
"In the beginning, my parents and coaches were trying to make sense of (the recruiting process), and now it makes sense,” he said. “We are not anxious about it and believe it will be an option for me soon. Urban Meyer said that there are only three, maybe five other running backs in the country that can do what I do. They want to check all of the boxes about me and seeing me move in person is the last one to be checked. All other boxes have been checked. They want to make sure just like we want to make sure. It has been good building a relationship with them."

To finish checking those boxes? Ohio State will head to Blackman High this spring and see Teague in person.

"Coach Alford and Coach Meyer want to see how I move in person,” he added. “Coach Alford will be coming to watch me twice during my spring practice."

I am a bit reluctant to say this because it could be taken as a negative criticism, but it isn't. As a former tailback (with far less natural ability than Mr. Teague), I understand why the coaches want to see him move in person. I'm assuming that they want to determine whether or not there is a level of wiggle/shiftiness that isn't showing up on film for any number of reasons. When I look at his film, I am reminded of Maurice Hall, a former Buckeye from Columbus Whetstone who, IIRC, was a 3- or 4-star recruit. Not saying he doesn't have it; just saying I understand why they want to visit him.

I wasn't going to say it. He is a slasher for sure. Eric Dickerson didn't have a lot of wiggle either. Not sure he has Dickerson's top end but he definitely has speed. Would love to know his track 100 meters. I would like to see more lateral movement. He does run with good pad level nice lean, appears strong enough to break a lot of tackles but it's hard to gauge the competition too, and hits top speed quickly.
