RB K.C. Christian (Walk-on)

How many walk ons are there in one year at Ohio State. I don't know what the ruling is and I just wondered. Seems to me there are quite a few and all of them seem to be pretty damn good. Since J/T's arrival who would be the best "walk on" he has had so far. I have no Idea and maybe some of you would know that question.

I would say Yao Smith was by far the best walk-on..

Rock Hill grad and Ohio State player Christian competes in spring game

Apr 23, 2008 @ 11:59 PM

By BILLY BRUCE

The Lawrence Herald

COLUMBUS -- The Ohio State Buckeyes don't play their first football game for another four months, but that didn't take away any of the excitement from the annual Scarlet vs. Gray spring game last Saturday at "The Shoe."
Two former local prep stars played key roles in the action.
Rock Hill High School graduate and current Buckeyes tailback K.C. Christian said the spring game, attended by roughly 75,000 Buckeye faithful, is a welcome break from the everyday grinds of practice.
"Everyone was pumped to play," the redshirt sophomore said. "It's a day for guys to get out there and get something out of the work they've put in."
Christian's Scarlet team, which featured James Laurinaitis, Alex Boone, Brian Hartline and Todd Boeckman, prevailed in the contest, 20-7.
"I had three or four carries," he said, including the longest run of the day from scrimmage. "One was for about 20 yards. That was pretty much the highlight of my day."
