I was thinking the same thing, that little juke sent 18 Flying and left 21 in a dangerous open field 1 v 1 where he went low like he’s taught, but Peoples has some bunny’sThe hurdle was awesome, but I was already screaming because of that subtle juke move he put to get past the guy on the edge. Jumps are 50/50.....that juke is going to be lethal.
I think he has looked substantially better the last couple weeks. Early in the season he was looking hesitant, but he has been playing north-south and hitting the hole quickly the past two weeks!
Its one game, but Iron sharpens Iron. If he wants to get on the field he will just have to keep fighting like this. I love it!![]()
Phillip Daniels, Nate Roberts and James Peoples Lead Pro Football Focus’ Highest-Graded Ohio State Players Against UCLA
Phillip Daniels, Nate Roberts and James Peoples were Pro Football Focus’ highest-rated players for Ohio State in the Buckeyes’ 48-10 victory over UCLA.www.elevenwarriors.com
PPF Grades: Running Backs (vs UCLA)
James Peoples: 86.7 (16 snaps)...... 6 carries, 42 yards, 2 TDs, 1 reception, 5 yards
Bo Jackson: 76.1 (35 snaps)...... 15 carries, 112 yards, 1 TD
Isaiah West: 67.4 (19 snaps)...... 8 carries, 61 yards, 1 TD, 2 receptions, 12 yards
Just sayin':
1. Since Peoples graded out as the highest RB I'll say he did a better job blocking than the other 2.
2. After a slow start this season where he went from RB1 to RB3 or even RB4; I'll say (in the last few games) Peoples is now working his way back for more PT and/or carries.
