As I said before, the fact that the kid and his family or paying out of their own pockets for him to come up here for the spring game speaks volumes about his interest in OSU...

My thought as well...A flight from Florida is not cheap and especially to reschedule after the whole skybus fiasco as well...

When I came up for the Illinois game last year I didn't know I was going until 2 weeks before the game. I left from Orlando and my ticket was $350. I would imagine it's about the same for Berry because of the whole Skybus incident and having to buy new tickets on a new airline.

look...I'm not sayin that we have absolutely no chance with this kid, or that this kid has no interest in us(I would imagine so if you're commin up for a visit). I hope we get this kid jus as much as anyone else does. I'm jus sayin ya never kno.


Do any of you kno if it's an official visit, or jus a visit?.

They wouldn't schedule an official visit when the kid is still a junior.

Actually Southwest is honoring all Skybus tickets with stand-by flights as long as they normally fly out of both airports on the original ticket. I'm assuming other airlines are doing similar things.

Jaamal Berry -- When Berry's junior highlight film hit Scout.com, it had a lot of people talking about him. One of the best running back prospects in the state on film only looked better in our eyes on Saturday. Including a eye-popping 40-time of 4.31, Berry was outstanding from start to finish on Saturday. At 5-10.5 and 184 pounds, he's plenty big enough and will likely be a 200+ pound kid in college. Simply put, he looked like the big time player we saw on film and continues making a strong case to become a five-star player.

Wouldn't be surprised if it came before the spring game, that would probably pull a lot of weight during the visit. OSU is hardly waiting along the sidelines on this one...
