RB Ezekiel Elliott (All B1G, All-American, National Champion, Pro Bowl, All Pro, Dallas Cowboys)

I take no credit. I'd like to believe I was indirectly responsible for the increase in beardage on this team, but it's probably just because they're college students and they took some class by some brilliant professor that showed them some graph about how much cooler beards were than clean shaven faces.

I'm too lazy to bother. I'd rather think highly of you and not prove myself wrong.

I am down with that  I do remember really hoping we hang on to Zeke...his film just stuck out to me and his character is so high. I just knew we would make him a star here and find a way to enhance all of Zeke, Dontre, and Jalin's talents. Urban did just that and Zeke ran with it....while we are there, prospective recruits might want to take notice...if you are talented, come here and we will figure out everything later (QB, RB, WR...take your pick).

I think Meyer was starting to assemble talent like that at UF before he left, but everyone didn't fit his scheme and he became burnt out. He seems like a new coach on our sideline. Quite loose but still very intense and driven. Guys like EzE gravitated to that and took on his mentality

The Marty Johnson & Avery Atkins situations really had an effect on him. He got into a mode where I think he believed he could "save" every at-risk kid, or had a duty to try, and put the culture of the program at risk by bringing in a lot of bad dudes.

Of course, if those bad dudes would contribute to winning football games, that was a bonus. I think John Cooper was guilty of that at OSU at the end of his tenure too. It happens.
