Chip Trayanum caught 1 pass for minus 18 yards

Just sayin': McCord just flipped the ball forward to Trayanum to avoid a (huge) sack. If Trayanum would have thought to just bat the ball to the ground it would have been an incomplete pass. However, it did set up probably the best (and strangest) play of the game....

Chip had a really good game against Sparty, running, catching and blocking. I love when he is
used in our two back sets. He, TreV, and Johnson are all so versatile out of the backfield and
in the passing game.

I think he's more of a rotational back here and going pro now doesn't make much sense as he likely would go UDFA, so he's taking his chances going somewhere where he can be more of the main guy, maybe collect some NIL money along the way and hopefully prove himself into having a better draft stock next season. Some school will be getting a decent back out of this. Best of luck to him.
