I think relying on TC to provide anything more than garbage time minutes in the blowout OOC games is asking a lot. His Buckeye lore from his one run against Toledo has fans thinking he's a viable option. If Caffey is getting 10car in B1G play, then OSU has had major injuries, like MAJOR injuries.

I wouldn't be too worried either way unless he was the only one left

Since it's the off-season, does the Crunchy Cookie thing bother anyone else? I get it, we don't want our guys to be soft, duh, but why go to such a loud and lengthy effort propounding an analogy that is actually, to my mind, exactly what you don't want in a running back? Crunchy cookies are not soft, but they are brittle and break and/or crumble under stress. I'm thinking that Carlos' Alabama is showing.

Uh, no. It gets people's attention. It's light hearted, yet makes a point (no soft running backs). He's a colorful character. If the running back's don't produce, THEN we should criticize Locklyn. Until then, leave the guy alone and enjoy the ride.

Obviously, we all love the job he's doing and how he does it. No one is criticizing him and no one wants soft running backs. My point, and not to be taken too seriously, is simply that the point you note that he makes actually makes the opposite point.

UO filed a civil suit against Locklyn for breach of contract earlier this month, claiming when he left for Ohio State he owed approximately $400,000 and has yet to pay the school.

Wouldn't his agent be on the hook for this? And wouldn't Ohio State read his contract before agreeing to pay his buyout?

If he's really on the hook for an extra $200k I'd like to think the school or boosters would pick it up. But if not then a gofundme might work.

Perhaps this is a radical idea in today’s world, but I think Coach Lochlyn should be responsible for his debts. If he and/or his advisors did the math wrong, that should be on him/them, not Ohio State fans. If Oregon is wrong, that’s for the courts to resolve.
