Too much whining. He had a big game, and will continue to get more carries as the season progresses. I find it amusing that somebody says it's a "curse" to be drafted by the Cardinals.

Yeah, what a shame to be drafted by the defending NFC champs, with a ton of talent around him, and a coach who longterm will be committed to the run (when Warner hangs them up after next year)

He's in a good spot.

I find it amusing that you say they're commited 'longterm' to the run.

Moreno has 99 carries to Beanie's 35. I could be wrong, but you could be talking out of your ass.

+1 and the less he fumbles, the more he will play.

I could be wrong, but you're probably also in the Ted Ginn's thread saying he's getting a raw deal, the Robiskie thread saying he's on the wrong team, the AJ Hawk thread saying he needs to get out of GB, the Troy Smith thread saying he should be starting over Flacco, etc..

He means that Ken Whisenhunt would like to run the ball more because he's a Pittsburgh guy and likes that type of offense, but hasn't had the personell to do it.

Beanie is hopefully the back that can bring a more balanced offense, however he's not going to keep getting the ball if he keeps fumbling and doesn't know the offense well enough to get a lot of snaps. It's been said he is very green when it comes to pass blocking and catching the ball out of the backfield. That's when you're going to see Hightower in on those situations.

Great to see Beanie get a break! I'm sure there'll be more to come after tonight. At some point Arizona will want to run out the clock on an opponent... maybe.
Anyway I really enjoyed watching him tear through the Giants tonight and hope he continues getting at least a couple carries a game to prove himself.

Why not? We all want our Buckeyes to succeed no matter the place, but when they arent the obvious next step is to blame it on the coach. Only because we've seen first hand what these players can do on the field. Granted it may not always translate into the NFL game, but why think any less of our bucks? I personally don't have an NFL team, but I do cheer for every NFL Buckeye.

We all know what Beanie can do when he totes the rock. He'll be just fine. It's great to see him healthy and recklessly stiff arming people again!

By committed 'longterm', he means that when you're up 7 points with 3 minutes to go they won't have 3 straight pass plays and go 3 and out. There's a fine line between agressive and redonkulous.

No, that would be me. (not really, but I liked saying that) In a free society and an open economy why can't players gravitate to the location that best serves their own personal interests? Who says the only way you can guarantee parity is by forcing players to sign with teams that may not be their best situation?

I understand throwing the ball short on 3rd and 3-4yards which they did, because you want to pick up first down and keep the clock going. However, throwing on 1st and 2nd down when Beanie was getting 5-6 yards a pop easy on the drive prior to that was baffling to me. He was getting those yards when they KNEW he was getting the ball so I don't even want to hear that they were trying to surprise the defense. 3mins to go, you just got a turnover and you're up 7. Yeah, let's throw it 3 straight times. I wish that first pass that was batted at the line woulda been picked off personally.

That logic was used to argue that one had a choice of working in horrible conditions for no wage or starving. It's basically the same thing and that is certainly not "free".

I also took a class called "Economics and Sports" and read several articles showing how the draft is an inefficient system because players are only allowed to negotiate with one team. I can't think of any other profession that has a system where one potential employer retains your rights.

Glad to see Beanie doing well. Too bad school prevents me from watching his NFL games live. I still vividly remember his 50+ yard man-run into the endzone during the 2006 OSU-UM game. My voice was gone by halftime...:)
