RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

In the articles, it looks like he wont be getting many carries, period.
Just in the scrimmages if you read the first line. It's no big deal. If I were Sax I wouldn't give Wells many reps in scrimmages either just to prevent injury. He'll stay the No. 1 or No. 2 back in the country because he is that good, and he won't fall because he gets less reps in a scrimmage compared to other backs.

we know how nasty this kid is, so i personally i could care less what the 'experts' rank him, and would actually prefer that his carries are limited so hopefully he doesnt get worn down or worse injured. remember mcnutt was the top corner recruit in the country after his jr. year and then got injured and never got back to that level.

Only reason he will slip in the rnaks is because of his early commit to OSU. IMO. Magazines dont sell as well with featured blue chipopers that have already committed. The sites and magazines get more publiucity by being able to being the first to grab a "scoop" on the players next decisions, and with wells that arent able to do so. He wont fall out of the top 5, hopefully.

Hmm. Oh that's right...

He's not going to plummet... For comparisons, see Sanchez, who seems like the next great QB at USC, but committed somewhat early.

He's got a good shot at the remaining candidates as well... I thought he was good before, but now that I know we've landed scout.com fan poll favorite, now I'm gonna do a jig.
