Seems like such a great kid. Can't wait to see him in Scarlet & Gray. Not that star rankings mean that much, but I don't understand how Brandon isn't a *****. I have a feeling he's gonna be a great one, whatever position he ends up playing.:groove:

I'm as excited about Brandon in a Buckeye uniform as I've been any other recruit since I seriously started following recruiting in 2003...and that includes Teddy and Beanie. He has the skills to be a serious gamebreaker wherever he lines up.

Pitcock and Rolf recently announced their intentions to attend Ball State. Saine tabbed Ohio State back in April. Saine, Ohio's Mr. Football, wanted to focus on the defensive backs chasing after him. He didn't want to be distracted by college coaches and recruiters doing the same.
"It was a hassle with all the people calling and taking messages," said Saine, adding he averaged about 20 recruiting letters per day.
Quiet and focused, Saine didn't seek the spotlight. Just the end zone.

OSU's latest running back recruit Brandon Saine could split time with Chris Wells

Antonio Pittman heard the offseason talk in each of his past two years at Ohio State: The new recruiting class had a tailback who was going to take the Buchtel High graduate's starting job.
Now, with the junior headed to the NFL Draft, sophomore-to-be Chris ``Beanie'' Wells, a Garfield High alumnus, finds himself in the same position.
