Yes, and traditionally speaking you are correct. Georgia is definitely AT LEAST on par with Miami, and is probably a much better program...better fans, better support. I cannot imagine leaving UGA for Miami unless you WANT a rebuilding effort.

I agree that UGA is the better job right now but Richt played for Miami so there's a chance he would leave UGA for Da U because of that connection. He'd be stupid to make the change but you never know.

Mark May would be a good choice since he knows everything. But who ever it is better be ready to have a losing record for a cpl years.

I doubt they will fire him honestly, unless they go into a major death spiral, and lose like 6 games. He has a NC ring, even if he didnt win it with his own players, he still won it, I think that counts for something. I would be shocked if they fired him if he lost only 3 games, but you never know.

Good point. Not only is Richt a Miami, Fla. grad ('82), but so is his current D Coordinator/Secondary Coach, Willie Martinez ('86).
