Jay Glazer is reporting that Brad Childress wants Moss waived, and told the team they are going to waive him, but that management was not unanimously behind Childress and that Moss has not officially been waived yet.

Also, Glazer reports that several Vikings players are livid that Childress tried to waive Moss. One such player is Percy Harvin. Not known where Brett stands on it.

Management not following through with Childress' request goes to show how Childress is dead in the water. I'm sure they are still going to waive Moss in order to save face, but they are not happy at all with Childress.

As is the case with guys like Owens, Moss and other talented assclowns, you know the risk going into the relationship. If you're dumb enough to think it can't happen to you, you deserve it when things go to shit.

The same could be said for the Chiefs. Bowe is already a head case, why bring in Moss?

Agreed, Chiefs are playing well and not throwing the ball much...why bring in a guy who whines if he doesn't get the ball in 5 plays? Dude is a locker room chemistry assassin.

Browns president Mike Holmgren suggested Tuesday that the team will not put in a waiver claim on Randy Moss.
"Our focus has to be on developing our young receivers," explained Holmgren. We hold out little hope for young Browns WRs Brian Robiskie and Chansi Stuckey as anything more than role players, but Holmgren is right that Moss makes little sense in the current construct. He'd be a nightmare in Cleveland.

I'm living in scUM and get kinda forced to follow the Lions. Face it, they're not much worse than the Browns or the Bengals.

That being said, I would not be surprised to see the Lions take a flyer on Moss.

Why do I think it might work? Two words: Rasheed Wallace.

The arguments against Moss sound like the arguments about Wallace coming to Detroit. Malcontent. Stoner. Lazy. Unpredictable. And he turned into every Piston's favorite teammate, and they won the 04 title.

Now, Moss is an idiot (as is Rasheed), or I should say, he can be an idiot, and he could also derail the very slight positive momentum the Lions have going.

But still... it would be interesting.

He's still a player.
