I'm going to a game for the first time this year (the Ohio U game) and I'm wondering what's the best way to get 2 tickets for a random game. The usual craigslist, stubhub, etc, just get a pair in my price range? Is there a better way to get tickets?

Is there a section in the stadium I don't want to sit no matter the price?

I live in Oakland, CA so I want to get tickets pretty far in advance.

stub hub is your best bet. Unless you make the trip and buy a ticket off a scalper:biggrin:

There is a seat in D Deck at the top that you can't see half the field. I know a guy that had those season tickets. He was pissed.

Tickets to this game would go between $240-340 a pair on Ebay. I would guess you could get them much cheaper on craigslist.

Good Luck!

This past year I was trying to track down a couple tickets to the Akron game. A few weeks out pairs were going for a few hundred dollars on eBay (and not for good seats). Stubhub etc were also really pricey.

I waited until a week or two (I think) before the game, and some of the tickets opened up on the OSU site and I got a pair at face value.

If your nerves can stand it, I'd wait to try to get tickets like that, or just see if you can buy a pair for scalpers outside the stadium on game day. I could be totally off on this (someone with more experience buying tickets on game day can correct me) but tickets outside the stadium were going for WAY less than they were on eBay.
