;]I can only imagine what a tropical storm would be like without warning...[/B] When I went on vacation to Outer Banks, NC a few years ago, there was a tropical storm/depression (I don't know the difference), and it rained like it was Forest Gump for a solid 24 hours.

It only sucks if A) you are outside and not near shelter or B) you are driving.

Had one pass through just the other day that was 10 minutes of sideways monsoon-like rain with 40 MPH gusts.
