Random pictures of the day

This was my setup in 1997

After my first marriage

Just add an ‘83 Ibanez Artist next to the chair and a 140 watt amplifier with a 4x12” cabinet next to the tv
I learned guitar when I was 8 years old and it was my constant companion into my mid 20's. Then one day I put it down and never picked it back up. But yeah, one of the struggles of marriage is most women want a pretty house with pretty furniture, curtains.... all this superficial stuff. I have always been a minimalist. Probably comes from joining the service out of school, never spending much time in one place and then working for civilian contractors afterward in remote locations until marrying and settling down. There were times where I literally sleep on the floor in a sleeping back or a couch and was perfectly content.

Lived here (outside of Grants Pass OR) from mid '79 -mid''82. My father bought it after the house we owned in Los Angeles doubled in price in about 2 years. He wanted to leave the city and live off of the grid as much as we could. It was 5 acres, we had a huge garden. raised cornish cross for meat and Rhode Island Reds for eggs, had pigs, a bull and a cow that gave us plenty of calves to raise for meat, a ram and a ewe and cut firewood and panned for gold as for extra income. We sold enough eggs, vegetables and meat from out cattle and pigs that my dad didn't have to work a 9-5. They were great times but my mother ended up booking

This was the local feed/grocery store. Sold mostly local meat, veggies and raw milk. Ran by an old hillbilly couple that lived in a small house behind the store. Closet you could have got to old America
