I decided to quit last night.. this hit home for me, thought I would pass it on to anyone else out there who may find it useful too..

I think the face on his wife is what did me in.. I can feel her pain through this photo..

I'm done.. I've been smoke free for 24 hours now. I saw a car full of smokers today and felt nothing but pity for them..

This video is well done too:

I caught a cold a few weeks ago. Sinuses and cough, not really a big deal. But smoking was uncomfortable so I didn't really do much of it. Then my lungs started to clear out. What comes out when smoker's lungs begin to clear is FUCKING DISGUSTING. I have smoked for a long time and never had this kind of sticky, brownish black nasty crap show up and I used to get lung infections a lot. I haven't touched a cigarette in 8 days now.

Not that I'm tooting my own horn, I'm actually having a hard time tonight because it's the first night I have been pretty damn drunk and fuck I want a cigarette.

Try this . Bind up your stomach and chest with cloth wrapping while you are exhaled to the point where you can hardly breathe.
Step two. climb a flight of 10 or 12 steps .
thats what I feel like right now from COPD

I'm aware of the consequenses. Just buried an uncle. I just get so fucking angry when I quit, that if someone asked me the time...I'd beat them to death with a clock.

Why would you suggest that to me? I just said I haven't smoked in over a week. :(
Because Like you I have tried to quit before and I know there will come a time when you will want to give your right arm for a smoke. And if you have done what I suggested and remember it in that moment you might not take that next smoke.
I have not smoked for 1 3/4 years now .
