Anyone have any experience working with or working for an employee recruiting agency?

I'm trying to find general information about what a recruiting agency would charge a company, how they would charge a company, and what specific services they would provide?

I interviewed for a recruiting firm once and I was turned off when I found out that they expected you to make around 90 cold calls EACH DAY.

Generally the charge is about 30% of the individual's annual salary to be paid over 6-12 months. The individual has to be employed for a period of time usually 6-12 months or your money is refunded. All of these terms are negotiable. Hope this helps...
