Question about the 1998 MSU/OSU game...

I was at this game. I could have lived with the result if (1) Ohio State wasn't so clearly the best team in the country that this shit on our National Championship aspirations and (2) if that had been one of those hard-nosed Nick Saban 10 win teams.

The big gut punch that makes this game a bitter pill is that it wasn't a Nick Saban 10 win team. It was a 6-6 team that had choked away at least three other games by "Sparty being Sparty."

Fuck Nick Saban. Fuck Bill Burke and Plaxico Burress. Oh, and fuck Paul Edinger too.

Why stop there? Fuck the whole state of Michigan! Including the former little brother who is now 10 times bigger and better than its older brother.

Sparty got away with a trip of our WR at the end that kiled it. Makes you wonder if the "fix" was in by one of those Refs? But that's a classic example of "Sparty being Sparty". Win the ones they shouldn't and shit their pants when they got a game won. I'm hoping for them to revert back to old Sparty this weakend. :tongue2:
