Way back in the day, did there used to be a record store called the Buzzard's Nest there?

I know there was a Buzzard's Nest on Henderson, not sure about Graceland though....

Bob's! Best. Bar. Ever. (I don't care what you say, lots of culture in there.)

Word. Funny, I would have thought that the Buzzard's Nest chain would have been pushed out by the national chains. IIRC, there was also one east of High St. on 161. If the Graceland center is the one I'm thinking it is, there was also an ice cream parlor called Ferrell's (sp?), and a Big Bear. There was also a restaurant across the street that showed classic movies (Laurel and Hardy, etc.). Just trying to verify 20 year old memories.

Yes, there was a Farell's. I was just trying to describe this place to BKB the other night. It was a big outing for us to venture out of the Arlington bubble and head there. I really enjoyed that place.

What about the Wendy's accross the street that seriously undercooked my double stack that time?

Yep. And if it makes you feel any better I wrecked their bathroom about a month ago on my way home in a post Chipotle for lunch emergency.

That one was for you, my friend.

There absolutely was, on the north side closer to Drug Emporium. And Farrel's (sp?), I was trying to remember the name of that place forever. I never went there but it looked like a clown training factory from the outside and was enticing to little kids. . . And Taco Bell near that. . .

And a Petland on the North side. . . And a Hobbyland maybe? South side of the center. Yes, I was a D&D nerd in my youth.
