grad, are you sure he wasn't talked about as a FB? I'm not suggesting that was how he was offered, but IIRC many felt he would end up at LB due to being a "lesser" recruit

Heres a little known fact that most people don't know, Mike Nugent(Also from Centerville) was also the starting QB for Centerville and played RB when he wasn't kicking or being the QB.

I would wager that 95% of the posters in this thread were well aware of this fact

Not trying to pile on you, even though you make it too easy at times, but not everyone plays both ways in HS...many of the bigger HS teams two-platoon players.

Alright a guy like Hawk and the talent he has, he would have played both ways in HS.

BTW at my school and almost every other CPS school, most of the kids play both ways, because we are all short on players. Every kid on our team has a offensive and defensive position(With the exception of our kicker) and the kids that start about 18 of them start both ways.

We used to have a "two-platoon" system last year when we had 65 on varsity, but this year we only have about 45 players, our guys get tired going into the 4th. quarter and that is the main reason why we lost to Licking Valley this year.

It's obvious this "grad21" guy doesn't know much about high school football. The guy acts like he's a coach or something.

If you want to go through the Rivals top 100 prospects, I can show you plenty of kids who are thought to have more talent than Hawk was given credit for as a senior and they only play one way.
