grad, are you sure he wasn't talked about as a FB? I'm not suggesting that was how he was offered, but IIRC many felt he would end up at LB due to being a "lesser" recruit

No he was recruited as a LB, but in HS you play O and D, he was a FB at Centerville, he was also a great punter, averaged 45 yards a punt his senior year. Heres a little known fact that most people don't know, Mike Nugent(Also from Centerville) was also the starting QB for Centerville and played RB when he wasn't kicking or being the QB.

How stupid is Tressel, he could have played Nugent at QB last year and avoided the whole QB controversy. Then in the spring he would have been free to start Boeckman. I bet he's kicking himself over that one.
