He missed guys early. Too late going to Van Sikle. He was skittish. I don’t blame him though. He played absolutely terrible. Hopefully he got it out of his system.

100% agree. The play calling was absolute ass. He overcame all of thatMan we're spoiled when going 21/29 for 259 and a TD is "absolutely terrible"...
I agree nothin fundamentally wrong but he misses wide open WRs and hits TEs and RBs - it is very frustrating with multiple options open but he is young.
Under throw to JJ cost us 7 points, too.
Day can shrug the sneaks off (see his presser) but he really needs to work on keeping his feet and driving on those, too, in my imo.
They sped him up in the pocket and delayed his reads consistently. All night.
This game was more on coaches imo. IU guys had a better game plan and our guys didn't catch up until it was too late (and still almost won).
Learning experience. Nothing foundationally wrong.
First one whatever the right way to say it is, they confused him by switching faster than he’s seen it so far. There is no such thing as "delaying reads" There are progressions that aren't viable as you make reads. There are muddled reads. But there is no "delay" you get into your progression and/or triangle... the difference is the speed.
When your time to throw is shortened, your processor must speed up.
There are ways I agree. But I saw missed execution on the OL and QB early and late. There was a collective, top-down failure last night on the offense (sans WRs)
The OL getting their asses whipped is absolutely a foundational issue. How we see Julian progress in playoff prep will reveal more. But there were things scUM threw at him that IU did as well. Both defenses were successful in those deployments, IU especially because of their DL.
It’s disappointing. Two short TD passes on a couple of those red zone possessions and he’d be the clear favorite.I'm seeing that the betting is a 4th place finish in the Heisman voting?
