QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

heres a good article from ESPN comparing crybaby developement with TP's

Tim Tebow deserved the pro development Terrelle Pryor is getting, Jemele Hill writes - ESPN

The Pryor-Tressel situation just shows there is never a move that will appease everyone. That's why Tressel deserves a lot of credit for riding out what has, at times, been a rocky road with Pryor. While Tressel isn't known for being the most liberal offensive coach, he could have taken the easy way out and designed an offense that focused only on Pryor's running abilities. Somehow the Buckeyes have managed to strike a balance between what's best for Pryor and what's best the program.

This is why Tressel will ALWAYS to me, be on of the BEST overall coaches in the modern history of college football. He landed one of the most hyped/wanted/storied high school prospects to ever play the game and focused on him enough to better him without sacrificing the core of the already elite program he built.

He makes mistakes, just like anyone else...he frustrates fans at times...as most coaches do...BUT Jim Tressel will never stray from who he is as a coach and who he is as a human being...and THAT is why as long as he is alive and wants to coach football he will always be my #1 choice to be the coach at The Ohio State University...

I am more than half way thru the winners manual and as a youth coach, I can't begin to explain how much its impacted me and my views on coaching. It has also inspired me to try to go back to college. Best 15 bucks ive spent in a long time.

That's awesome...but this thread is about Terelle Pryor.

So im on ESPN.com and im in the college football section and I see something about The Ohio State University but when i click on it i quickly see it says "On The Mark". Mark May has sumthing to say and i don't wanna watch due to the fact that I hate his guts. Just thought I'd share that.

I watched it.

(according to MM)
.....TP is one of the best athletes in college football, but not one of the best QBs yet.

TP went from a 3 to a 6 (on a scale of 10) as a passer from the regular season to the Rose Bowl. Will he carry that into this season is the 17 mil $ question. If he does, the Bucks will be an elite team this year.

Bucks are still the class of the Big Ten this year. Blah, blah, blah......

Nothing bind bending :ohwell:

Mark May probably does suck it...

Although, he also said that if TP continues his progression into the season, the Bucks will be in Glendale for the NC.

Surprisingly, his whole thing was an honest and reasonably accurate look at the Buckeyes. Really shocked me. He gave TP a lot of props for the first time ever, he really only had good things to say about the Buckeyes.

Clearly a case of a character being rewritten.
