QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Well that is certainly a STUPID comment. Nothing to do with visuals??
I am telling you, when he stood up, I was shocked at his physique (or lack thereof). That is why I made my initial comment about putting on weight. He is FAR from thick. No way he weighs 235. IF he does, then he could go to 255 easily.

I stick by my "visuals" not an opinion. When have you seen him in person?

Hey your talking to my guy all wrong......It's the wrong tone.

I am still sad this thread title says (Official Offer) and not 'Is a Buckeye' :(
Don't be sad. If it's meant to be it'll happen. Plus we just beat Michigan....again.

Ron Cook at the Post-Gazette finally sees the light ..

Pryor best ever HS Football Player in Western PA.

Pryor's performance wins over doubters
Saturday, November 24, 2007
By Ron Cook, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

They've been saying for some time that Jeannette's Terrelle Pryor just might be the best high school football player to come from Western Pennsylvania. I laughed. I grew up in Beaver Falls and know of the legend that was Joe Willie Namath. I watched Hopewell's Tony Dorsett and wouldn't believe his greatness if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. I saw Penn Hills' Bill Fralic, the only player I know who might have been able to make the jump from high school to the pros. I marveled at North Hills' LaVar Arrington.
But I'm not laughing any more.
One play did the trick for me yesterday in Jeannette's outrageously easy 61-12 win against Beaver Falls in the WPIAL Class AA championship game. Pryor ran a simple quarterback sneak and turned it into a 61-yard touchdown. At the end, he just ran away from Beaver Falls' Todd Thomas. That's noteworthy because Thomas isn't typical of the often lower level of talent at the Class AA level. He was offered scholarships this week by West Virginia and Penn State.
The run was Dorsett-like.
Almost as fascinating as the play itself was the reaction from those involved on the field and sidelines.
"What that play tells you," Beaver Falls coach Ryan Matsook said, "is that the kid deserves to be the No. 1 recruit in the country."

Jeannette's Pryor approaches rare milestones

By Paul Schofield
TRIBUNE-REVIEW
Sunday, November 25, 2007

Jeannette quarterback Terrelle Pryor is approaching a rare double-double.
With as many as three more games remaining in his high school football career, Pryor could reach 4,000 yards rushing and passing. He has rushed for 3,781 and completed 213 of 364 pass attempts for 3,855.

WPIAL Class AA Boys' Basketball Preview: Whenever it begins, Jeannette is top pick
Basketball season won't start until football is over

By Mike White, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

The leader of the team is the highly publicized quarterback of the football team. Terrelle Pryor, a 6-foot-6 senior guard, averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks a game last year. At least one scouting service ranks him among the top 50 players in the country.

Every time I come on and see it I get a glimmer of hope he's going to OSU...Then reality hits, and it sucks

Wait a darn minute, you want to see Terrelle a Buckeye! Do you want to win the Game in the next 4-5 years?

I meant I get a glimmer he's not going to OSU. You are clearly not acquainted with my rooting allegiances...

I think he was picking on you for your obvious typing error. :)

My Boss, scUM alumni, wants Pryor to go to tOSU, he said he doesn't think there's a chance in hell that he will go to Michigan, and if they can beat us with "that guy" then they know they are National Championship Calibre, no idea how Sniper feels though.

Honestly? The day Terrelle Pryor signs with Ohio State, I will shed tears of sadness. There hasn't been a mentally competent mobile QB we have stopped since, oh I don't know, around 1412, and so yeah let's face a 6'6, 235 lbs monster who runs a 4.3. Yeah, that's exactly who I want to face. Let's look at numbers against mentally competent mobile QBs lately, shall we? Juice Williams, Vince Young reincarnation against you guys be damned, is not mentally competent.

Oregon's Dennis Dixon (39-7 loss) 16-25, 292 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT, 16 carries, 76 yards, 1 TD
Appalachian State's Armanti Edwards (34-32 loss) 17-23, 227 yards, 3 TD, 2 INT, 17 carries, 62 yards, 1 TD
Ohio State's Troy Smith (42-39 loss) 29-41, 316 yards, 4 TD, 1 INT, 4 carries, 12 yards, 762 gray hairs for me screaming at the LBs to contain.
Ohio State's Troy Smith (25-21 loss) 27-37, 300 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, 11 carries, 37 yards, 1 TD
Texas' Vince Young (38-37 loss) 16-28, 180 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 21 carries, 192 yards, 4 TD
Ohio State's Troy Smith: 13-23, 241 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 18 carries, 145 yards, 1 TD

Etc.....You get the point. It's well-documented. So yes, I would LOVE to face a guy with Vince Young's size and running ability, Dennis Dixon's speed, Troy Smith's leadership and throwing abilities and Armanti Edwards' elusiveness...:(

I'm gonna go cry now...
