QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

The Raiders wanted him to play WR when they drafted him, but that bullshit suspension they put on him prevented that. They couldn't afford to lose those 5 games and then transition him to WR.

He really got boned with that decision.

I weep at what could've been to that 2011 season. Arguably one of my favorite Buckeyes ever. He made playing Dual Threat QB look so effortless. But I have to admit, he makes a damn good WR in the NFL.

Pryor playing against high school defenses wasn't a fair fight. Maybe the best prospect to ever go to tOSU and a great player. Agreed, it would have been really fun to see him play as a senior. It was pretty obvious he'd be a great receiver if he ever made the change. He should have made the change a few years earlier but he seems like the kind of guy who has to learn things the hard way.

Agreed, like @BuckeyeNation27 mentioned, he should've began his NFL career transitioning to QB, but circumstances didn't help him in Oakland. And there's no way he could've done that at tOSU, as we had no other competent QB options.
It was frustrating at times watching him mature in front of us, but his athleticism was off the charts, and you could tell that if he put it all together it'd be something special
