I don't have a lot emotionally invested in Pryor's NFL success, but he seems to me like a guy who could potentially be a more physically imposing (i.e. powerful) version of Randall Cunningham. And Cunningham was a pretty good NFL quarterback, despite having some of the same drawbacks you attribute to Pryor.OSU_D/;2278767; said:...I am struggling to understand why so many people think he really is an NFL QB. TP never had great mechanics, especially on short throws. He wasn't great in college at throwing over the middle, and wasn't the greatest at reading defenses.
I think TP is where he will always be (IMHO). A very athletic back-up that will cause a scare in some defenses (when he gets time due to a starter's injury) but without the tools to be a regular starter.

Yes, I did. Don't agree that Cunningham had one of the best arms in NFL history.Thump;2279069; said:Have you ever watched Cunnigham play?
He had one of the best arms in the history of the NFL.
No comparison other than being tall, black guys.

The largest I remember being gator-arming a pass to a wide open TE against Oregon.
