CLEVELAND -- The Browns are intrigued enough by former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor to do their due diligence on him for the supplemental draft, a league source told The Plain Dealer.
Whether or not the Browns submit a bid for Pryor remains to be seen. Because Pryor hasn't yet officially entered the draft -- which could take place in mid-to-late July -- the Browns can't comment on him.

The Dog Pound and TP - not a good combination. Unless of course, he wins a few games for the Brownies and they accept him into the fold. Just saying that there are many Buckeye fans among the Browns loyal fans. This could be a tough crowd - probably much tougher than the fans in Ohio Stadium if he had returned.

Go back over the three years TP played. Where do you think the Bucks would be without him?

The first year, with Todd Boeckman, I think ends up pretty much where it was. They get killed in the Coliseum and they don't get by Penn State.

Years two and three? I think he pretty much carried the team.

i think had we not had Pryor, we would have recruited somebody else and he would have been the starter.

I agree, except in '08, I think OSU loses at Wisconsin and at Illinois if Boeckman is the QB. Wisconsin TP really led the Bucks back in the last drive, capping it with a 10 or so yard option keeper to win the game. The game at Illinois (OSU won 30-20) was very windy, and TP made a lot of plays with his feet that day. OSU still might have won with Boeckman in there, but it would have been a lot more difficult. The conditions that day were not conducive to having a pocket passer QB who isn't as adept at running the ball.

TP definitely won some games for osu that other QB's probably would have lost. His legacy is going to be tarnished with everything that went down, but it's hard to ignore only 4 losses in three years at osu.

I, for one, will not miss him.

*insert braxton miller new Michigan killer joke here*
