what did I miss? couldn't have been much...it is only 2:12

i actually missed the pryor part but heard a recap where he just apologized...the funny part was watching pryor sitting there stone face with a 100 yard stare while rosenhaus was going off about how pryor is just as good of a QB as cam newton, how he won 34 or whatever games, had 59 TD's...says pryor will be a 1st round supplemental pick because teams need QB's

Have to say I agree with Ken Gordon on this one.

Best of luck Terrelle.

Doug Lesmerises was on a roll...

Drew Rosenhaus, Jim Tressel and Terrelle Pryor walk into a bar ... and then Rosenhaus starts YELLING AT EVERYONE!

After watching that Pryor-Rosenhaus news conference, the only thing I'm surprised about is that LeBron James wasn't there.

When Pryor signed with Ohio State, I thought, "This will either end with a national title or with Drew Rosenhaus ranting at everyone."

As much as I loathe TP right now, and as much damage he has made at Ohio State, his apology was really good. Him speaking about Jim Tressel and saying sorry to him in the public eye was respectful.

the espn article said he is 9 credits away from graduating. That is pretty amazing. 9 credits short after only 3 years. There just seems to be a major disconnect between his on field, classroom, and off field decisions.

It is really quite bizzare. How does a smart kid screw up this bad?

Great athlete, solid QB, dedicated student, bad friends/social ideas.

IMO if he has enough respect for himself on the field and in the classroom, then the off-field issues are a stem from trying to show off in front of his friends and/or trying to fit in with a (dishonest) crowd of "friends" that just isn't who is he truly is inside.

What a load of misrepresentation.

1. To the extent anyone is "enriched" by Big College Football, it's mostly the coaches. The rest of the money doesn't go to "the NCAA," which has an annual budget of about $750 million - which sounds like a lot until you realize there are nearly 1,300 member schools, so about $600,000 per school. NCAA Annual Budget

2. At Ohio State, after coaches and administrators are paid and debt service addressed, the remaining funds go primarily to scholarships in our many varsity sports.

The most important beneficiaries of Big College Football are athletes in non-revenue sports who gain the opportunity of pursuing a college degree. These student-athletes get the lion's share of all the "billions of dollars" you talk about. The NCAA greedy? What a joke.

the NCAA makes $770 million annually from its CBS March Madness deal alone. i call bullshit. (and for a "non-profit" the president seems to be profiting quite well with his $895k salary.)
