I got a vibe from the April NOA that tOSU not firing Tressel pissed them off a little, but that's water under the bridge...and entirely my subjective read.

Well then they'll be creaming like they're sitting on top of Megan Fox if Smith shows up and says what a great job he's been doing...not...

No, I wasn't kidding at all. Why you thought, even before yesterday, that we were going to get off more easily than USC is beyond me. And yesterday's news didn't exactly "surprise" me. Did any of that really come as a shock to you at this point? I doubt it.

I made that statement last Thursday. If you don't think anything negative has come to light since then, you haven't been paying attention.

Supposedly Pete Carroll didn't know about Reggie Bush's money, cars, home for RB's parents nor the agent. Tressell KNEW about the violations, yet did not report them. Why didn't the OSU compliance department monitor the coaches emails? every LARGE company monitors their employees emails. Did any other coaches know anything? If so, when did they know? Tressell made a monumental mistake in judgment by allowing his spoiled brat to undermine what Tressell had been preaching for years.
Guys, this situation may be ugly right now, but it going to get a lot uglier when the sanctions are announced. Disclaimer: Yeah, I know I am ugly already.

All of those who always thought he should play wide receiver may get their wish when he makes it to the NFL. Best of luck.

You got that right, especially without the benefit of one more year to truely develop his passing skills. There's no doubt as to his speed, size, strength and ability to move the ball when it's in his hands. Proved that in the Texas bowl game.

Keep digging. lol.....

On Topic food for thought..... How much worse could this have gotten knowing TP is leaving WHILE there is an NFL LOCKOUT?

Finding out that Devier Posey is gone too and I'm guessing that's round three when he and Boom decide that there's not going to be a bowl game or an NC run.

Frankly, I think the team may end up the year in a really good position with Miller and Guiton at QB, but it may be a rocky first half of the season.
