QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Although I agree with your logic, I don't know if that helps OSU...

Tomczak
Tupa
Fry
Graham
Hoying
Jackson (although he wasn't as much of a dud as many people think)
Germaine
Bellisari
Krenzel
Zwick
Smith
Boeckman
Henton...

Tomczak, Tupa??? Where did Jim Karsatos go? And in what category to you put him? Does that switch around the rest of your players into differenter categories?

And it was Greg Frey. Not Fry.

And where did Kirk Herbstreit go?

And maybe Schoenhoft will be in the "legend" category (and replace Boeckman), and Henton will be in the "so-so" category, and Pryor would step up into the "legend" category.

Edit - OK, you edited your post to include Karsatos. Nevermind.
Edit 2 - I forgot about the "no cursing" rule in this forum. I apologize.

For anyone reading about Pryor last post first - jwins means that Pitt was an early presumptive choice, Pryor had verballed for basketball till an April '06 decommit. Many other schools were knocking for football, OSU and PSU included.

Because PSU is an arch-rival of Pitt for PA recruits, don't expect them to get a significant mention in a speculative column running in a Pittsburgh city newspaper.

Hence you have OSU given primacy as the declared winner, because it hurts Pitt fans to remember what they had, and it would hurt more if they lost Pryor to PSU.

They also said Shayne Hale was a Michigan Lean in a previous blog and that they would be shocked if Andrew Sweat didn't go to OSU. They seem pretty legit . I don't know about the Baldwin thing though he seems pretty High on us.

Their opinion on Baldwin doesn't jive with UM insiders, nor does the Hale opinion with numerous UM & OSU sources.

Perhaps they're right and the aforementioned are wrong, but I'd take their comments with a grain of salt. Except about Pryor, we can just accept that as a stone cold lock :p

Psh, of course.

Honestly though, I know its been said before but we have to remember these are highschool kids we are talking about. Its not like they are just indecisive because they are being recruited and getting all this attention (although I'm sure that plays a big part), choosing a college to go to makes almost any kid decisive. Every time I start paying too much attention to recruiting services and who is a "lock" for what school I just remember what it was like for me and my friends when we were trying to decide where to go to college. Even when you personally know a kid, half the time you can't tell where he'll end up going to school.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. If it really did come down to pitt and ND for Baldwin, he is going to Pitt he said he didn't want to redshirt. Sorry for getting off topic.
No worries, I think it was on-topic enough, to question/critique the source with relevant examples.

Now back to stone-cold lock koolaid :atom: :p

I would think Pryor would commit earlier than at the end. Generally top QBs commit early to stregthen the class. Kind of like Brewster but obviously Pryor would attractthe skills positions.

Not many skill positions of need left for this class. The staff seems like they want another WR, but it's not a huge need.

By that logic he would have already issued a verbal for football. He hasn't and we have heard nothing to suggest he will do anything but take his time, his visits and then commit.
For comparison 5 of 15 top HS QBs irrespective of type and style have already committed - so 2/3rds are still out there, Pryor among them. Last year it is true the top two QBs gave their verbals respectively to ND and Michigan early in the last week of April, but it does not always work out that way. My point is that if Pryor were to follow the early commit path he would just have likely have done it by now.
Hopefully I am wrong and he commits before his Senior High School season - just does not look that way right now.
