Actually, you could say QBs don't usually start until their Soph/Jr season, so if you are coming in after these types of OLine classes you could either miss the boat altogether, or not play with them when either is in their prime. Whereas if you come in with them, both should mature on the same level.Oh8ch;834001; said:Why is everyone writing UF off in BBall?
They have 4 top 100 players on their roster and three more coming in this fall. Donovan has proven he can rebuild quickly.
And their football recruiting is just sick - including four OL the past two years who were rated in the top 15 at their position. If I am a top drawer QB I want to come in a couple years after the great OL classes - not with them.
The biggest difference between OSU and UF in both sports the past few years is that UF has actually won three National Championships.
Not trying to be a negative Nellie - just trying to keep some perspective.

I do not believe he was in attendance.Buckeyecty4;833894; said:Any word on whether or not he showed up at the Pitt combine today?/
Donovan burned that bridge by asking for total control. Back to UF for BD.Olorin922;834432; said:Billy Donavon might be headed out the door. He just interviewed with Memphis for the head coaching job/ GM responsiblities. He is already taking interviews and the playoffs are only in the second round, I feel there is a good shot we can write him off. If he is interested in a bad team while the league is still playing it can almost be for sure that he would take a coaching job in Toronto when dealing with a playoff team. I think he is gone and the UF will not be a factor. What happened to the statements Pryor made that location is a difference maker. Then he schedules a visit to UT and now we are all talking about UF?
