QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

2002 was the last year OSU practices were open to the public. It was also the last year Freshmen got a two day head start.

I was at the first practice for that 2002 class of Frosh. I watched Jim Tressel spend most of the session one on one with an incoming QB named Justin Zwick - perhaps the most heralded incoming QB since Art Schlichter.. I'm not sure where Troy Smith even was that day as nobody was looking for him - but he was not working as a QB.

Replaying a recording our second practice session in slow motion to pick up nuances in Pryor technique might be a little over the top.

Sounds like Tim May's description of TP's throwing motion when he asked a question to JT on Monday. Oh8ch, are you Tim May? :wink2:

No. Tim May is a curmudgeon who loves to run around peeing in everyone's cheerios.

I am just a little short today because I have been focusing all my energy on giving a [censored] about what Bret Favre does.

Brett Favre has been in the news? Really? I hadn't noticed!

Posts 3844 and 3845 of a thread about a kid who has never played a down of college ball... suggesting that there is too much discussion in the media about a Hall-of-Fame QB.

What's really sick is that there's been so much stuff about F**** that they're both right, irony be damned. (So make it post 3846 too)

Pryor is the best QB on the team(after Antonio Henton) and should get the start against YSU! What has Boeckman done besides win the Big Ten, be arguably best QB, beat scUM in his first try and take us to the BCS Championship game? Blah! Sit him down! He's a stiff! (sarcasm)

One bit of speculation:

The more playing time that TP sees this year, the worse that bodes for the success of the team as a whole (generally speaking). If I were to find out right now that TP was going to see a lot of playing time, I woul be thinking to myself that we are plobably going to be losing a few games.

And for those inclined to bring up Tebow and Florida winning a MNC with him seeing signifcant PT, please remember that Florida did not have much of a backfield and that is not the case with Ohio State. Tebow was essentially their goalline back. We got Beanie (enough said).

I am as excited to see TP play as anybody, but if he never sees a meaningful live snap this year, I think we will all be very happy indeed!

Go Bucks!

Yeah, I hate when people say that.

You'll have to help me out here. My tired eyes don't seem to see any posts like that.

Looks like one of us is suffering from delusions. Either I'm crazy, or you're yelling at the air again.

I'm anxious to hear about his throwing motion. Hoping he's improved his mechanics from the camp he went to.

Nice high release
