After watching some of the video of him, the QB he evokes from my dusty memory is Steve Young.
OK - I know, I know. It's a little out-of-left-field because Steve is, you know, left-handed and all... But nobody else fits his style better in my mind.

QB recruit driven to be No. 1
Miller believes OSU is the place to win title, become top NFL draft pick

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
When Braxton Miller moves from Huber Heights Wayne to Ohio State in January to start college early, he will be pursuing at least two major goals, he said. And he believes coach Jim Tressel and quarterbacks coach Nick Siciliano are just the men to help him achieve them.
?My dream goal is I want to be the No. 1 (NFL) draft pick,? Scout.com?s No.1 QB prospect said after committing to Ohio State?s 2011 recruiting class last week. ?I am going to work hard as I can every day, on and off the field, and anything I do is going to be working toward that No.1 draft pick.?
The other goal?
?Once I get there, we?re going to win the national championship,? Miller said. ?I know coach Tress and Siciliano will get me prepared.?
His father, Kevin, and Wayne coach Jay Minton have the same belief, at least about the coaching he will receive at Ohio State. It?s one of the reasons Braxton Miller opted to end the recruiting chase early.
?When they had Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy winner), and then with the progress of Terrelle Pryor this past year, yeah, I know they can develop quarterbacks,? Kevin Miller said. ?We weren?t really worried about what type of offense they had. We just didn?t want to be in a system-type of offense. You want to be in an offense that?s going to help you be a balanced quarterback instead of one-dimensional. Coach Tressel builds his offense around the strengths of his quarterback.?
That?s much the same reason Pryor gave for choosing Ohio State in 2008. His progress ebbed and flowed his first two seasons, but Pryor ended last season on a resounding high note with his MVP performance in the Rose Bowl win over Oregon.
Pryor gave Miller a resounding recommendation of the Ohio State program.
?He said (Siciliano) is one heck of a guy, a heck of a quarterback coach, and that coach Tress and the staff have gotten him right, and he just loves it there,? Miller said.
Unlike at Wayne, though, Miller will be in a crowded field that could still include Pryor, along with Joe Bauserman, Kenny Guiton, Taylor Graham and Justin Siems. Regardless, ?They probably will fit me in? and find him some playing time as a freshman, he said.
?Terrelle is taking the spot right now. He will be a senior (in 2011). I respect that. I?ll just do what I can do, and if I do get the chance to play I?m going to show out, just like I did as a freshman (at Wayne).?

Braxton's Dad and Coach Minton say tOSU's staff is the best option for preparing him for the NFL as a complete QB and not just a product of a system offense.
