QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

The more I think about next years tough decision the more I think the team calling the big ten championship game have it right. They said who was slated to be the starter? Ok that's #5, well normally it comes back to the original starter not the back ups. All of you know I've been clamoring about JT before he even took his first snap but the more I think about it the more I think at this point that anyone would've went ape shit in this offense this year. I think Braxton can be that same passer that JT was this year if he learns to throw the deep ball better and who knows with this injury maybe it actually helps him take some speed off it giving our guys more time to run under it.

In saying that I cannot help but think what this offense can be with Braxton's speed, he will still be a 65% completion guy, and then 4 starters on the OL and all the skill guys. I really hope he doesn't go anywhere because I think if he does come back it'll be very hard for Urban to keep that type of play making ability from starting.

Serious question too... Could JT take a medical for next year to "recover"?

Not likely....The only way JT could take take next year as a medical and still get 3 more years of eligibility, would be to get waiver on the 4 seasons in 5 years.
Since J.T. red-shirted the 2013 season as a true freshman the only way to extent that to a 6th year would be if the reason he RS the 2013 was due to a medical issue.

I'm sure I'm missing about 50 more teams where Braxton is going to transfer next year. Can we keep a list going? Try to limit it to college teams, if you can.

there was the fact that he tore his acl in his senior yr, they could play that card. I think we all need to wait and see how #5 shoulder is doing in the fall though, until we know that this talk is all way premature.

Agreed. Besides, Michigan somehow got a medical redshirt for Gardner's freshman year 2-3 years later. I'm guessing that the burden of proof isn't that tough to come up with. So if Miller comes back and plays next year, Barrett COULD say that he was too hurt to play in 2013, and he should get a medical redshirt for that year, and 2015 could be a normal redshirt year.
I find it extremely hard to believe that will happen, though. Miller is transferring to Oakland to play for the Raiders, and Barrett will start. Jones will move to tight end, and everyone else will transfer to shutting up about it.

Not sure about a medical redshirt for JT but Braxton is a freak athlete in his Senior season. No way you put him on the sideline. When injury free he is a phenom. I love JT but I would go with BM.
