QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

So Braxton will have graduated by football season next year.. he can use that fancy rule where he can transfer to another school without sitting out a year. If I understand the rule, he needs to have graduated and seeking a grad school, and that grad school has to have the degree that the original school doesn't offer. Is that right? If so, how many possibilities are there for Miller?

Ohio State has so many legitimately good grad programs, I can't think of too many they don't..Kinesiology maybe?

(Oh, I'm sorry, I can't help it)

At any rate this is a premature conversation for about a million reasons. The least of which is what state is Braxton's shoulder in when this decision needs to be made? What if, as a result of these two injuries, Braxton doesn't see himself as a QB at the next level?

There are innumerable possibilities out there for Braxton. When all is said and done, I believe the best one will be to stay right where he is. He will be close to home and family (which is important to him). He will get excellent coaching. He will get the amount of playing time that the coaches feel he deserves at the position the coaches feel will be best for the team. He will not have to learn an entirely new system in a short period of time. He will be playing for his beloved home state school. He will have a degree from tOSU and can be working on a second one. He will secure his place in tOSU community for after his playing career is over. And most importantly, he won't have to get his tat removed or altered.

I was asking more about the rule, in general, and how it might pertain to Braxton - not so much specifically what he should do. I'd be shocked, from what I know of him (little, to be honest), if he transferred.

Five-star QB/athlete (he's a QB) Torrance Gibson just committed to Ohio State. Assuming he signs and Miller stays, they'll have JT Barrett, Braxton Miller, Cardale Jones, Gibson, and two other highly touted QBs on campus in 2015. Meanwhile we were starting Case McCoy last year. Grumble grumble.

Still think Miller should graduate and transfer down here.

A long time ago when ESPN came into being, (1982) it was pretty good to watch. But now they have gotten worse. 2 days ago on CFB and yesterday on PTI, the story lines read "Will Braxton Miller transfer IF he comes back to Ohio State." My question is this.........who starts all this shit and why. We keep hearing more and more of this type of nonsense, but I want to know the source and where it is coming from. I hope its just a rumor an nothing more.

Good question about where this starts, but it's nothing that posters on this board haven't said.
