QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

I can't understand that bad pass to Posey by himself in the endzone and that freshmen playing answer will not cover it

How about, it was a bad throw. Will that cover it? There doesn't always have to be an excuse. Sometimes things happen that you don't expect. Split second too late of a release from when you intended can affect the trajectory by 3-4 feet.

Sorry he didn't live up to your standards :roll2:

He's a raw freshman who shouldn't have even been playing this year. He has plenty of work to do and isn't satisfied with his performance either.

Looked to me like too much adrenaline, which should be much less problematic with more big-game experience.
I agree half with that but, he's played most of the season. Just watched a few plays again and you can even see Posey was pis,,,, off. He was by himself and the starting QB at OSU should be automatic with a pass like that. The passes with good coverage I can see being safe

Exactly. Very similar to a guy missing a wide open dunk or layup after a big steal. He was surprised that Posey was so wide open, adrenaline kicked in and he overthrew him.

FWIW I would take that over the "grip the ball way too tight" wounded-duck passes he was throwing at the start of the year.

Adrenaline apparently is a september thing.

Really? A receiver was upset that a pass missed him? That's surprising.

And you're by yourself assuming ANYTHING is automatic with a raw freshman.

Of course it's a throw he's expected to make. He's also expected to not panic in the pocket, to read the coverage, the blitz, etc. He's not able to handle it all yet.

Playing most of the season doesn't magically fix his limitations, which is why he wasn't going to be playing this year outside of garbage time.
