Unfortunately, several of those few throws were to open WRs on deep patterns...he hits those and we have 51 points. That said, The Game was a great learning experience for him and I think he tears them a new ass in The Shoe next year.

Braxton did have a pretty good day against TSUN. I loved his heart...that leaping play on the last drive where he just willed himself to the first down mark...you just have to love kids that play that way.

Meanwhile, as Mili and others have noted, he did miss some pretty obvioius downfield shots that could have led to several more points/yards. Part of the growing experience. Truth is, TSUNs "defense" is still horrible...and hence we looked better on offense. I'm not ready to annoint anybody for having a good game against that crappy defense.

Now that there will be a new staff and presumably more QB coaching, it'll be interesting to see how Braxton develops from here.
