Coach just said he was very close to putting Tate into the game against UNLV... that has to tell you he's made up a mountain of ground against the two other guys. Would not be shocked to see him put in the work in the off season and then take that starting role. The kid just wins and there's a lot to be said for that.

I honestly don't know why he'd do that at this point. Redshirt the kid and if he only plays 2 years before going pro oh well. But try to get 4 years out of him cause he doesn't have prototypical pro-size.
