your posts have been pretty fair in their complaints, I just didn't like the 5 loss thing. And who says grad's coaching skills don't suck more than Bollman on his worst day? :tongue2:
LOL, good point.

have you watched OSU football in the last 4 years? The QB has always run to the sidelines and received the playcall. That is not a sign of stupidity on TS' part. Krenzel did the exact same thing. So did Justin. Was there a reason you're assuming Smith is too stupid to decipher hand signals?Do we have a two minute drill "package", like 8-10 play/ formation combos. Should the QB have to sprint over to the sideline after a long completion, get the play from coach, run back to the huddle, relay the play and line up the team? Don't most teams use hand signals for this?
Is Troy not able to decipher hand signals? Would Justin be expected to sprint back and forth?
No wonder Troy didn't get rid of that ball, he was winded from 2 straight runs to the sidelines and back.
Anyone with coaching experience (Grad) I would appreciate your insight.

Zinc, I'm going to go devil's advocate on you here: the problem in every OSU loss or poor offensive performance in the past two seasons has had inconsistent QB performance as it's dominant theme. Those losses have also featured some very damaging turnovers by the QB. So while maybe it's not ALL about the QB, it's been mostly about the play of the guy under center.
I couldn't agree more. It's time for Zwick. We need someone who can find the open receiver. I've been a Zwick fan since he played in the Alamo Bowl. Tressel needs to make some decisions: does he want a QB who scrambles or a QB who can throw?
It's time for someone with QB skills at the QB position.

what flavor are you drinking? There is a reason Jim Tressel is the coach of the Ohio State University football team. There is a reason he has won multiple National Championships and coached the only 14-0 team in NCAA div 1 history. There is a reason he is 43-9 @ tOSU. If he is starts Troy Smith over Justin Zwick...there is a reason.
