QB Quinn Ewers (transfer to Texas)

If Stroud starts and win the NC who earns more of his NIL Ewers or Stroud.Who should earn more?
This isn't a kindergarten participation trophy. They should and would both earn a lot. The market should decide.

And they wouldn't have to risk their entire careers to get a tiny sliver of revenue like Troy/Pryor. Nor wait until they are mostly unmarketable like Barrett and to a lesser extent Braxton.

It's not like this is only happening with the superstars. Guys that are borderline NFL camp invites are getting sponsorships.

I want the athletes to get as much as they can..they deserve it ..I just don’t want it to become a political issue like everything else in this country. Fairness is the buzz word I will be looking for in the media and political world.

All of this post is dead-on, but especially what I bolded. Good for Quinn to get his paper up, let these kids get what the market decides they are worth. And I think a lot of kids are going to benefit from it that don't work it out in the pros. Whether Quinn ends up being a star here or not, I like the rule change overall.

Ewers is expected to arrive on Thursday and will soon begin practicing with the Buckeyes.

"Just out here with Holy Kombucha," Ewers wrote on Twitter. "Me and my family have been drinking it for a long time now. I'm excited to work with them."

Entire article: https://247sports.com/college/ohio-...t-to-arrive-at-Ohio-State-football-168978175/

Just sayin': If Quinn can earn more NIL money than any other starting player then that's great for him.

Maybe I'm hearing it wrong, but it seems like some people are a little annoyed that 2 parties are making an agreement that includes an exchange of money. The agreement no longer violates any rules. It doesn't violate any laws. No one is getting hurt. There's no blackmail or anything else shady happening (I'm assuming).
He may never throw a pass for the Buckeyes.
He may never throw a pass in college football.
He may never throw a pass in any other organization.
If he or anyone else finds a company who wants to pay him to endorse their product, then good for him. Good for that company.

I will never hate on someone for using his/her own talents to make money for himself/herself.

Another day, another 100k impressions. Now at ~600,000 views. If Holy Kombucha wanted to reach that many people via a traditional national broadcast TV commercial, the price would be $105,000 for 30 seconds, not counting the actual production cost to film the spot.
