QB Quinn Ewers (transfer to Texas)

What if he has a million or so NIL reasons to do so?

That's the wildcard that no one has a clue about yet.
If he's sitting on a bench, my guess is that he's probably not going to have a million or so NIL reasons.

If he's playing, definitely... which means a year or two and he's gone (if he's what everybody says he is).

But, in principle, I get what you're saying. We don't know what / how this thing will play out.

I don't think a kid who comes out of high school a year early is going to spend two years sitting on a bench.

A year, maybe. But not two.
Perhaps. But that would entail beating out Stroud. Ewers may be more talented, but if Stroud carries OSU to the championship and comes in next season with an extra yr over Quinn, it’s not like he can automatically unseat CJ. The kid can ball

If CJ wins an NC this year, no way does Ewers unseat him. He may get extra reps in garbage time to rest a starting CJ, but he ain't beating out an NC winning QB who was also a former 5star and won the Elite 11.

Who asked for this guy's opinion?

Ewers' decision has sparked adverse reaction for some, including a remark from former Oklahoma and Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight. Knight, a fellow Texas native, starred at Reagan High in San Antonio and signed with the Sooners as a four-star prospect in 2012, long before players were granted the ability to make money from branding.

"I wholeheartedly disagree with this decision," Knight tweeted this week, a reaction that resulted in 2,200 likes and more than 100 comments.

Knight signed as an undrafted free agent in 2017 with the Arizona Cardinals and was a practice squad player prior to his entry into the the now-defunct AAF with the Arizona Hotshots two years later.

At least this guy shows some class.

"I have a lot of respect for (Quinn) and if he kind of feels like that’s what he needs to do, then good for him,” Klubnik said in an interview with 247Sports Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong. “I don’t have much of an opinion on it. I’m just trying to get ready for the season.”

Klubnik says his final season of prep football prior to joining one of the nation's top programs is necessary to fine-tune his skill set, specifically working on his pocket presence.

"I need the senior year, for sure," Klubnik said when asked if he would be ready to play now at Clemson. "Just being able to work on all the fine details before I get to Clemson is going to be awesome. It's going to be really good for me, you know, as a true first-year starter last year, you kind of got a lot going on. I've really got the offense down right now. I feel like we've got a really good shot to do something special this year."

HS football is HUGE HUGE in Texas, so its not shocking a Texas company jumped at the chance to get the highest rated HS QB recruit ever from the state to push their product.
Not a surprise at all. Especially for a kid from one of the most storied programs in the state.
I'm surprised a BBQ restaurant wasn't first lol

I hate how the NIL operates. It’s entirely possible Ewers never takes a snap for tOSU.
Meaning he was able to earn money during his only profitable time instead of ESPN, Rivals, 247, BTN, twitter, instagram getting all of that ad revenue.

Unlike Braxton Miller and JT Barrett, who were stars for about five hundred years and had a five second window of selling their OSU likeness after they graduated (frankly less than that for JT)

If Stroud starts and win the NC who earns more of his NIL Ewers or Stroud.Who should earn more?
