QB Kirk Herbstreit (Frosted Quips)

Common fallacy, I disagree with someone's opinion so I will ascribe unsavory motives to their reasoning for disagreeing in spite of any actual evidence to my claim
I agree to disagree, this conundrum of a multi faceted catch 22 since the failure to provide satisfactory evidence in the minds on both sides of the can only provide a cornucopia of transgropified arguements

Only Brewster? Compare him to any other Buckeye who has called games. He has not been impartial. He has constantly looked for ways to show he is somehow independent of Ohio State. Mr Fake Buckeye talked crap about Ohio State constantly, said he wouldn't send his sons there, jumped on every bullshit Trev and Mark wagon train nodding his head. I won't be choking back a tear when he visits for the last time. He should have been thrown out long ago.

As for ESPiN's sudden fairness to the Big Ten and sorrow about the way things have worked out, they look like every other sad loser you know who overplayed his hand in a poker game.

I feel sorry for Herbstreit's kids because they grew up in Columbus and were Ohio State fans, and I've bitten my lip a few times since his son is on the team, but Kirk and everyone else in Bristol can go pound sand.

I actually haven't minded him as much this season. He seems to have mellowed out a bit. Not sure if it due to one of his sons playing for OSU or something else.

I did catch and enjoy his comment over the weekend about the QB room at OSU and some recruits and their dads not having the patience to stay and compete.

It’s quite a contrast to read threads on other non-tOSU sites. I’d suggest that there’s an overwhelming opinion that he’s unlistenable because he’s such a tOSU homer.

I suspect there’s a lot of truth on both sides of the discussion.
Most cfb fans are idiots. They look at where an announcer went to school, then hear him say one thing positive and decide he's a homer. Desmond Howard is an idiot and a homer. Herbie is no Desmond Howard..........he's arguably worse, since his character that he plays is supposed to be taken seriously.
