QB Kirk Herbstreit (Frosted Quips)

Well we certainly know we would have gotten blown out by Miami by 50 in 2002, I mean...

We were about to enter "the Hurricane Zone"! Mike Bianci said so!

"These simple, poor, plodding people are getting ready to step into another realm beyond their comprehension. Maestro, cue the Twilight Zone music, please:

There is a sixth dimension beyond that which is known to Buckeyes. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the sunlight of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area that might be called the . . . Hurricane Zone."

Yeah, interesting that in years when OSU doesn't have the easy schedule, strength of schedule no longer is a talking point for espn and the committee.

[gator] I'm sure there's a hint of anti-SEC bias here, but I'd love to see a study [/gator]

@Gatorubet - I'm just messin with ya....

But seriously, they've moved the goalposts 4 years in a row, and really, as this is year 5, the initial season was when it was established. It's clear the only standard is entirely subjective, and with the conflicts of interest between the CFP, ESPN and the SEC and ACC conferences, the whole thing is a corrupt mess.

I think they played the best no loss team, best 3 loss team and probably best 4 loss team, while going against the best 2 loss team every day in practice. That's gotta count for something, right?
People gotta realize.....Alabama is really good. And not only do they share a conference with Georgia.....they were in the same stadium the other day. The dots are right there guys. Connect them.
