It is rather telling that many of us were defending Herbstreit back in the day. From a personal standpoint, I have tried to cut him as much slack as I possibly could...but outing OSU players on national TV who didn't do anything was the last straw, because I used to defend him believing he would never do something like that.

So the last time there was a dust up between the NCAA and the OSU football program Herbie was getting death threats, from the psycho fringe element of OSU fans, while contemplating moving away from Columbus for the sake of his family (no matter how personally painful it was to him)?
