This shouldn't be regarded as a defense of Herbstreit in any way, shape or form.

With that said, anyone who texted, emailed, confronted on the street, or otherwise made life in Columbus miserable for the Herbstreit family should be ashamed of themselves. Those people who did so are miserable dickheads.
