QB Justin Zwick (B1G Champion, National Champion)

I just have this feeling he won't transfer. He was here when Scott McMullen stayed his senior year when he could have done the same thing. Injuries happen and McMullen got to play his senior year. In addition McMullen still got a shot in the NFL as an undrafted free agent. If Zwick stays and finished up here he probable has a better chance to still get a shot in the NFL versus going to Baldwin Wallace or anywhere else and playing.

Troy being "the guy" didn't sneak up on justin. Maybe he did have a shot this year, but he had to know what he was up against. If he was gonna transfer, he woulda done it before this season.

I tend to agree.
Besides, I also think he will get more looks from the Pro's scouts as a backup here than he would as a starter and a smaller school

Im a huge Zwick fan, both as a football player and as a young man. This kid has handled everything with class and dignity. He also looked pretty good with the headphones this past weekend. Maybe a future occupation?

If he did decide to transfer, good luck to him, I've enjoyed the fours seasons with him in our system. He should have his degree at the end of the year, so if he wants to earn a masters at OSU while playing football, then great. We need him. If he wants to have one more season in another program, then I wish him the best of luck. Only Justin knows what is best for him, and by no way can anyone say that he's ever turned his head on the Buckeyes. He's put in his four years in our system.

It will be a major loss if we lose him. He will always be a beloved Buckeye in my mind, and he will always be a ohio high scholl legend. The guy will succeed in life. And isn't that what it's all about?

I changed the title back to "refuted."

The rumor is bogus and intended to sell subscriptions on message boards. I find this pretty shameful that a college kid who has been loyal to the University and a great ambassador of the team is being exploited so people can make money from this type of rumor.

There is no B-W, there is no YSU, there is nothing but S&G. That is the absolute truth.

The backup QB is always the most popular guy in town, but the way he has stuck it out despite tough circumstances is very admirable. Being a buckeye is invaluable after football, and I think people will remember his loyalty. Our offense may be able to carry our team somewhat in 2006, and his return makes the outlook much brighter (with how TS runs, he's one play from being injured).

And that is an incredibly sad thing to hear....

I listened to 1460 the Fan last night on the way home from work and the indication from a few media members that are in Tempe is that today is mandatory media day and they are going to make it a point to ask Zwick if he intends to transfer or stay at tOSU.

I wish they would just leave the kid alone. Let him do what is best for him.

If you want to be left alone, don't come to Ohio State to play football. When there are MILLIONS of Buckeye fans...the media is going to ask a lot of questions.

I'm not saying it's funny or good if they are bothering him. But I don't feel bad for the guy. He's the backup QB for the best college football program in the country, and he's played quite a good amount in his career. Sorry things weren't perfect for Justin...but I'd gladly let media bother me like that to get a chance to put on the S&G and be a part of the team.
