QB Julian "Just" Sayin (National Champion)

Why are all of the throws being done off base? honest question. i get you want to be ABLE to throw off base but dont you also want them to have a solid base whenever possible.
He looked to practicing staffords no look where his body says he's going somewhere else but yeah don't over practivcce that to the point you don't have good mechanics when you should

Getting a little too close to spin pass highlights for my liking
Probably more of showing off in a video proving he can do ridiculous arm-angle throws for when things break down, but I hope that is not the bread and butter. I would like to see a video of him doing a traditional drop, stepping into the pocket and putting his weight behind a pass. It's nice to know he can make these types of throws and I am sure he is well equipped for the more traditional throws that will comprise 80%+ of his passes.

That doesn't get the people going! Meh, these highly edited Twitter clips are always awful, never let them support or detract you on someone. I think a lot of the off base/angle work is a byproduct of Mahomes success and kids trying to emulate what they see.

Sayin has all the physical tools to be a success next year, it's just going to come down to the mental side...can he stay calm and go through his progressions, can he keep his butt in the pocket, will he learn to pick up coverages more easily, etc. There will be some rookie mistakes, especially against Texas, but it's all about improvement game after game. He seems like a good kid, cool and calm, not too high and not too low, so I feel confident about his odds of balling out for us but the true test will be when he hits early struggles....when he feels pressure from himself, the staff, players, social media, etc. etc. etc.

So it seems to be his training. Here is a video of his QB coach in San Diego doing the same drills. But if you look at any of the guys he coaches, they are nothing like that in game.

Here another young prospect

It seems like the clip is a mix of Sayin showing/having fun combined with footwork drills designed to make him think on the fly. But the drills are specific, to keep him off balance. But the velocity is there, and that's what's the biggest takeaway. He's throwing ropes with a flick of his wrist

Here's a bomb

So here is Sayin at a Rivals camp. The setting is utilizing his drills from his QB coach, and you once again see how effortlessly can get the ball to the WR in a second
The 2nd video is a breakdown of some of Sayin. Unfortunately the best you can find is HS film since he hasn't played much in college. But the tools are there.

The last video is a compilation of him passing on the move(you can see him using some of the drills from his QB coach), being able to move the pocket, sitting in the pocket and throwing and then running the ball
