QB Joe Burrow (transfer to LSU, 2019 Heisman Winner, National Champion, Cincinnati Bengals)

Part of me was thinking Urban was being a little misleading when Urban said he was torn on which QB to start but he really was dead on. Haskins has the higher ceiling but Burrow's arm is legit and is definitely capable of lighting up elite defenses, and his legs probably make him a better fit for Urban's offense. Just absolutely sad we never got to see him play in Scarlett and Grey.

Burrow is benefitting from a pretty solid defense. I think he made the best choice going to LSU where he just has to be a game manager and not make mistakes. Proud to see a kid from southeast Ohio doing well I played in the same conference as him in high school. Kids from that area don’t go on to D1 very much. I think he bleeds scarlet and gray but he did what was best for him. I’ll be a secondary LSU fan unless we play him.

our RBs only got caught because of the elite speed of the SEC defense.
