Ohio State football has former minor leaguer Bauserman in the fold

Columbus -- The Ohio State quarterback derby officially expanded from three to four on Monday as 21-year-old freshman Joe Bauserman took part in the first practice of the fall.
"I'm anxious to see him," coach Jim Tressel said just before the start of the Buckeyes' evening practice.
Tressel faintly remembers Bauserman's skills from his recruitment four years ago, when he was rated as the No. 55 quarterback in the country by scout.com. Bauserman orally committed to the class of 2004, but instead played baseball after he was chosen by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the fourth round of the 2004 baseball draft.
