Well, I'll raise my hand as say that for the most part, I like to watch the games alone too... or if not alone, it needs to be with someone who is as interested in the game as I am.

People talking when the game on? Verboten.

I also like to be my own replay official.

People who casually watch games don't appreciate watching games the way I like to enjoy them.

Not crazy, I just know how I like to enjoy a game.

You're right.. I honestly don't do this on purpose though. Just have to remind myself I suppose to keep cool early and then I should be good to go

Nothing wrong with being upset about a play or, hell, even a whole game plan (:cough: Iowa :cough:) The difference is letting it actually decide your mood for you.

Actually, for me, both the Iowa and Clemson losses were pretty easy to deal with. In both cases I knew the game was going bad fast and had time to come to terms with the fact that we were gonna lose. OU had me bummed until I woke up on Sunday, which is to say, until I fell asleep Saturday.

In blowouts yeah I handle them fine... first quarters are still my only issue in those games.

I will say though that I can be a little peeved by how we finish games sometimes (UNLV) and sometimes that'll get me chirping but otherwise just need to RELAX for opening kick off.

I was fishing during the Iowa game, then the batteries on the radio died. This is because I'm a good person, unlike @muffler dragon

98 against Michigan St. was my low point.

With age comes perspective. I used to not be able to sleep the night before the Michigan game, not anymore.

Anymore, I set the DVR and do stuff out in the yard or play with the kids and come in at halftime.

A family changes your perspective.

I look at it like this, if the worst thing that happens in a day or week is that your favorite team loses, then you've had a good week.

That year, I felt like we finally had a team that could go wire to wire, beat M*ch and actually win a nat’l championship. God damn, it took me a while to get over that loss and after, I vowed to keep football in perspective...

Until 41-14. Despite having already won a NC in recent memory, I couldn’t sleep after that loss. I think that was truely the one that finally dispelled the unrealistic expectations I heaped upon 18-22 year old college athletes.

Perspective is everything, and to be completely honest, having won it all in ‘02 and again in ‘14, it’s MUCH easier to roll with the punches. We really are in a golden age of Buckeye football and I, for one, am enjoying it. Of course, ice cold beer and legal weed help. :pimp:
